Sharon Renee Archer, 62
Sharon Renee Archer died at age 62 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021. She was born on Aug. 26, 1959, in Helena, Mont., to the parents of Robert and Roberta Henry (Plumley). Sharon was the second oldest of four children.
After graduation, she married and moved to Mullen, Idaho, where she had a daughter who died at birth and then had a son named Christopher David Arthur. Her then husband and her divorced and she remarried to Charles (Chuck) Archer and together they had a son named James Archer (Jimmy).
In 1989, she was in a terrible accident that left her with a brain injury. Sharon’s long-term memory was damaged and her short-term memory was all she had to work with. Sharon loved horseback riding, shooting pool leagues and darts. She finally got to the point where she couldn’t walk much, so after giving up being on a pool league, she found a new passion in gambling machines. She was a great speller and could do math problems quite well and Chuck was always amazed she had that ability. One of those games made you add numbers and she did very well with a particular game. As long as she had her pop and cigarettes, she would play them for hours while Chuck played pool. She enjoyed going places with him and though she didn’t have a lot of friends to hang out with she had her cat, her TV and cards, and couldn’t wait for Chuck to come home from work.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Henry; mother-in-law and father-in-law Winnie and James Archer; aunt Karen Tew; aunt and uncle Branstetter; grandparents on both sides; and her second cousin, Jack Long.
She is survived in death by her husband, Charles Archer; her mother, Roberta Henry; her sons, James Archer and Christopher Arthur, and her daughter-in-law Julie; her grandchildren, Braden and Kaylee Ann Marie Arthur; siblings Anita Tonn, Russell Henry and Beverly Ernsberger and their spouses; also her nieces and nephews, April James, Brenda Copley, Amber Brocket, Amanda Henry, Tracy and Daniel Ernsberger, Cody, Travis White and Vanessa Hayes along with their spouses; great-nieces and nephews; uncle Ray Tew, Shawn and Shane Tew and their wives and children; aunt Bonnie and uncle Melvin; Jeri Lynn Moon and her children, and Kevin and Holly Moon and their children, Tracy and Janis Long and their children, Beki Montoya and her husband and their children, and many other cousins.
She had people who loved her and watched over her whenever she was out with friends. She was loved and care for by her husband and she was happy with her life and will be truly missed by everyone.
