Kellogg Police Department Roll Call: Oct. 27 - Nov. 3

• Report of a possible DUI driver on Riverside Avenue. Suspect vehicle was located but it was parked in a driveway with no one around. Cleared, NAT.

• Assist K79 with a female causing problems at Noah's. Female was located and removed from Silver Mt and taken to The FairBridge to sleep it off.

• School patrol, stationary patrol on Bunker Avenue (0 violations observed).

• School Patrol Bunker Avenue.

• Checked on abandoned car on Riverside. Vehicle was moved.

• Patrolled the rainy streets on Kellogg.

• Suspicious activity at McKinley and Main. Building left unlocked and RP wanted a walk-through. Building checked and secured.

• Follow up on a call from last week.

• Placed a dog in the pound for county found up Pine Creek.

• Dispatched to a theft 500 block Chestnut. Cleared, report taken.

• Contacted an individual a Kellogg City Park regarding being in the park after hours. Verbal warning was given.

• Traffic stop at 400 block Bunker Ave. Verbal for speed (computer not working for written warning…that was remedied after the stop).

• Traffic stop at 10 block Jacobs Gulch, written warning: fail to dim high beams and headlight inoperable (1 headlight working).

• Traffic stop at 10 block Jacobs Gulch, written warning speed 31/25.

• Traffic stop at 600 block W. Cameron, citation for speed 39/25 and insurance.

• Landline request regarding questions about juvenile discipline issues and possible truancy, referred truancy issues to other agency (not in Kellogg) and advised of Idaho Laws regarding punishing vs abuse. Public assist.

• Disturbance 600 block W. Park, adult child vs mother. Nothing found criminally, peace restored.

• Assisted K74 in the 600 block of W. Park. Agency assist.

• Traffic stop at Bunker and Hill for stop sign violation, verbal.

• Assisted D2 with a kitchen fire 500 block W. Mission. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Dispatched to assist P&P, 500 block Brown. Cleared, felony arrest.

• Assisted K78 with an agency assist on the 500 block of W. Brown Avenue.

• Conducted a traffic stop on S. Division Street and Railroad Avenue. Verbal warning given.

• Dispatched to a burglary on the 100 block of E. Portland Ave. One individual was arrested and book into jail.

• Assisted county with two felony warrants 800 block of Wardner.

• Traffic stop Hill Street and Railroad registration. Cleared, verbal.

• Dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Italian Gulch. Provided a civil standby.

• Assist K77 with fingerprinting.

• Assisted county units with a combative male having an allergic reaction to consuming too much alcohol located in Pinehurst. Male was transported to Shoshone Medical Center for treatment.

• Assisted county units at Walmart for a male who had a warrant out of Shoshone County.

• Assisted county units in locating a wrong way driver traveling east bound in the west bound lanes of I-90 near milepost 49.

• Bar check at several location in the city contacted two separate male who were about to drive home, convinced them it would be in their best interest to have a more sober driver get them home.

• Assisted county in front of the Kellogg Police Department by stopping a car that may have been involved in a battery. Cleared, other agency assist.

• Malicious injury to property in the 10 block of Diamond Avenue, report taken.

• Put a dog in the pound, brown Pit bull, very nice dog.

• Gave candy out to the local kids beswaggling. Over all a good safe night.

• Assist county with a driver that did not want to stop for the pretty lights. Ended at Shoshone Medical Center parking lot.

• Assisted county at Shoshone Medical Center with moving a suspect from the failure to yield.

• Paperwork for court, as well as paperwork to court/prosecutor.

• OK, losing to Cooper Rush is not OK! Never heard of him. Yeah me either.

• Work on editing SWET codes as a couple came back with errors that were sent to the court.

• Follow-up on notice to abate (half way through 10 days — premises inspection — looking good so far).

• Citizen contact 10 block of W. Cameron, subject found property belonging to another person. Attempted return, no answer at residence, will try again later. A person flagged me down to turn over another person's driver's license that was found on the ground. ID was given to oncoming shift, as owner gets home after 5 p.m. per neighbor.

• Assist county with fight in progress involving weapons (baseball bat) near the Elementary School in Pinehurst, subjects separated and both called in prior to arrival, indicating this as a road rage incident. I was canceled prior to arrival as the situation had de-escalated.

• Landline request for abandoned vehicle on private property. Vehicles will be tagged for tow.

• Dispatched to a person at the liquor store that has a warrant. Subject was not at the liquor store.

• Dispatched to dogs at large again. Checked Brown Street again and still was unable to locate any dogs on the loose.

• County units dropped two dogs off at the pound a brown lab and a white/brown heeler.

• Assisted county units with a fail to yield traffic stop in Kingston.

• Assisted an elderly individual from Cameron and S. Division back to the 400 block bunker. Cleared, public assist.

• Disturbance at 100 block N. Hill Street, male subject yelling at store clerk, left in vehicle prior to call being placed. Arrived to the area and got further information, subject had an attitude when told to leave property (but did leave). Remained nearby as they were told Law Enforcement was called. Subject states doing work for Google and even went as far as to show phone and what they were doing. They do not work directly for Google, but a sub-contractor (or something to that effect). Advised subject they were no longer welcome on Beamis Properties. Verbal for trespass is what this resulted in.

• Traffic stop on W. Cameron and Oregon, written warning x 3 — fail to stop at stop sign (I-90 and Bunker, as well as Bunker and W. Cameron), carry proof of insurance, and carry vehicle registration. The two documents were shown while issuing the already printed warning.

• Staged at the edge of the city for a bomb threat at Walmart. Cleared.

• Assisted K79 with a suspicious 100 block W. Idaho. Cleared, agency assist.

• Assisted K79 with a domestic/overly intoxicated female 200 block of McKinley. Cleared, agency assist.

• Completed CJIS course and test — 100% BABY! Woo woo.

• Suspicious on the 100 block of W. Idaho. Cleared, everything was code 4.

• Combative patient at Shoshone Medical Center, after several hours, subject was taken into custody for felony malicious injury to property. This took the majority of the shift.
