Osburn City Council Candidate: Charles 'Spike' Angle
Charles “Spike” Angle is running for one of two open Osburn City Council positions and, if re-elected, plans to work directly with the people of the city to make it a great place to raise a family.
“I will be on the streets if elected to hear citizens' thoughts and complaints,” Angle said. “Since retirement I have the time to dedicate to the citizens.”
He and his wife, Denise Angle, have five children and 14 grandchildren.
Angle says that he has been involved in public government work for more than 40 years and has worked with budgets, assisted the city of Osburn with snow removal, helped with sewer line maintenance, and other general duties.
In addition to this community service, Angle has worked at the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office where he achieved the rank of Captain.
Following that, he became the Chief of Police for the Osburn Police Department and held the position for many years until he retired.
Angle says he would like to continue to work for the city of Osburn and stresses that being available will be his top priority.
“I will address each issue on a case by case basis,” Angle said. “I will work hard with the other council members to make sure the city of Osburn remains a place we all want to live.”
