History and the Wallace mayor race

When someone writes, in a letter to the editor to the News-Press, that they see no relevant connection between the Wallace mayoral post and Heather Branstetter’s deep grounding in Wallace’s history, I just cringe. There is so much more that Wallace needs to do to develop its historical “presentation of self.”
