Vote Heather Branstetter for mayor of Wallace

This letter is to support our daughter, Heather Branstetter, who is running for mayor of Wallace. When Heather told us she was running for mayor, our response was “Why in the world would you want to do that? It's a thankless job, and politics can get kind of messy!” Heather has a mind of her own, though, and didn't listen to us.

She has always been service-minded, from picking up trash along the freeway in high school, to founding the Rotaract club (a younger version of Rotary) at the University of Idaho and traveling to India with the group to help administer polio vaccines, to currently serving on the city council. She views serving as mayor to be one more thing she can contribute to a city and community she loves.

Heather is one of the smartest, hardest-working people you will ever meet and will do a great job as mayor of Wallace. Please get out and vote for her on Nov. 2.
