James (Jim) Patrick Hogan, 73

James (Jim) Patrick Hogan was born on March 16, 1948, in Los Angeles, Calif. He passed away Sept. 10, 2021, in Pinehurst, Idaho.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Hogan; and his brothers, Mike and Chuck Hogan. He is survived by his daughter, Brandy Hogan; brother Paul Hogan; sister-in-law Jinelle Hogan and dear friend Shirley George. He was a beloved uncle to Jeff Hogan and Shannon Carlon.

Jim Proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of Vietnam. In 2014, he retired from the Park Service in Sequoia National Park. That same year he relocated to Pinehurst, Idaho. He was all about people having a good laugh, enjoying their time with him and he knew life was about the memories you make. He will be greatly missed.

Per James’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
