Glenn Marc Story, 64

Glenn Marc Story, 64, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away Sept. 19, 2021, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was born Nov. 22, 1956, in Kellogg, Idaho. Glenn was the son of Marcellus and Velda (Bell) Story.

Glenn grew up in the Silver Valley and attended and graduated from Kellogg High School Class of 1974. Glenn then went to work as a tree trimmer for a local company where he spent the next 20 years. After retiring, Glenn spent his days in the woods collecting fire wood. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Glenn was also an avid rock hound.

Glenn will be remembered for having a big heart, loving personality and a wonderful laugh. Glenn was also an incredible story teller and artist. At the end of the day, Glenn loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his bride to be Jessie.

Glenn is survived by his fiancé, Jessie Desjarlais; four children, Jesse Story, Story Lee Wood, Kris Stairs and Jamie Desharlais; five great-grandchildren, Destiny, Jazmine, Isaiah, Phoenix, Little Jamie and Moonpie. Glenn is also survived by his cousins, Kenny and Janet Larson.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters at birth.
