Morbeck Foundation awards $85,000 in grants
The Directors of The Frank A. Morbeck Community Foundation, Inc. are pleased to announce that the Foundation has awarded $85,000 in grants to Wallace-area community and youth organizations for calendar year 2022.
The Foundation is an Idaho non-profit corporation that was created by Frank A. Morbeck to benefit the quality of life in and throughout the community and surrounding area of Wallace, Idaho by fostering and enhancing charitable giving and philanthropic purposes. Mr. Morbeck passed away in May of 2000 at the age of 78. He left the majority of his estate to the Foundation. Mr. Morbeck established the Foundation to provide a means for the community and its youth to enjoy the benefits of his years of investing in the community.
The Foundation hosts an annual banquet to honor the grant recipients and celebrate Mr. Morbeck’s generous gift to the Wallace community. The banquet will be held at the Wallace Elks Lodge on Friday April 15, 2022. A no host social hour starts at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. The public is welcome.
