Erik Rod Johnson, 53

Erik Rod Johnson, 53, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away July 31, 2022, at his home in Wallace. Erik was born on Dec. 20, 1968, in Kellogg, Idaho, a son of Rod Johnson and Judith Morin.

Erik attended local schools and graduated from Wallace High School, Class of 1987, and spent most of his life in the Silver Valley. Erik became an electrician and worked various jobs throughout the Pacific Northwest. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed cutting wood, going fishing, camping and dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Morin; and a brother, Tod Johnson.

Survivors include his four daughters, Brook Johnson, Melissa Sherbinow, Autumn Johnson and Emma Johnson; his brother, Bradley Johnson; his father, Rod Johnson; six grandchildren, Robert, Marshall, Carter, Zoey, Lincoln and Jeremiah; and his aunt, Patsy Lemieux.

A celebration of Erik’s life will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, at the Wallace Elks Club.

Erik will forever be loved and missed by his family and friends.
