KSD and MSD registration info

The Kellogg School District (KSD) and Mullan School District (MSD) have released the important information for getting students registered for the 2022-2023 school year.

• For students attending Pinehurst Elementary (K-5), new student registration is Aug. 17-26, by appointment. Call 208-682-2193 after Aug. 15 to schedule.

• New students attending Canyon Elementary Science Magnet School can register Aug. 17-26 by appointment. Call 208-682-2749 to schedule.

• For students attending John Mullan Elementary School (K-6) in Mullan, school will begin on Aug. 25.

• New student registration for Kellogg Middle School is Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 9-11 a.m. Returning student registration (including students who were fifth grade at Pinhurst or Canyon last year) is Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 9-11 a.m., 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Please call 208-784-1311 after Aug. 15 with any questions.

Mullan students are requested to bring any physical forms/sports packets. All students will need to bring $15 for an activity card.

• Students attending Mullan Jr./Sr. High School will be registering for classes on Tuesday, Aug. 23 in the high school library. Beginning with seniors (9-9:30 a.m.), juniors (9:30-10 a.m.), sophomores (10-10:30 a.m.), freshman (10:30-11 a.m.), eight-graders (11-11:30 a.m.) and seventh-graders from 11:30 a.m. to noon).

Seventh-grade students and new students at Mullan Jr./Sr. High School have the option to stick around after registration and tour the school with the school counselor.

Please call Ashley at the high school office to set up an appointment if you are registering an out-of-district student who has not previously attended the school at 208-744-1126.

Arena scheduling and registration for Kellogg High School will be from Aug. 22-25. In keeping with tradition, the senior class will register first and the freshman class will register last. If you turned in your four-year planner but you or your guardian cannot make your registration time, the counseling office will register for you. Those who did not turn in their four-year planner will be registering last.

New student registration for Kellogg High School is by appointment only. Please contact 208-784-1371 after Aug. 15 to make an appointment.

• Seniors will register Monday, Aug. 22, beginning with Group 1: Last name begins with H-L (8-10 a.m.). Group 2: Last name begins with A-G (10 a.m. to noon). Group 3: Last name begins with M-R (noon to 2 p.m.). Group 4: Last name begins with S-Z (2-4 p.m.).

• Juniors will register Tuesday, Aug. 23. Group 1: Last name begins with H-L (8-10 a.m.). Group 2: Last name begins with A-G (10 a.m. to noon). Group 3: Last name begins with M-R (noon to 2 p.m.). Group 4: Last name begins with S-Z (2-4 p.m.).

• Sophomores will register Wednesday, Aug 24. Group 1: Last name begins with H-L (8-10 a.m.). Group 2: Last name begins with A-G (10 a.m. to noon). Group 3: Last name begins with M-R (noon to 2 p.m.). Group 4: Last name begins with S-Z (2-4 p.m.).

• Freshman will register Thursday, Aug. 25. Group 1: Last name begins with H-L (8-10 a.m.). Group 2: Last name begins with A-G (10 a.m. to noon). Group 3: Last name begins with M-R (noon to 2 p.m.). Group 4: Last name begins with S-Z (2-4 p.m.).
