Shelley Diane Pierce, 68
Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, Shelley Diane Pierce, 68, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away Aug. 11, 2022, at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg. She was born Jan. 26, 1954, in Wallace, Idaho. Shelley was the daughter of William and Ruby (Gilseth) Hoffman.
Shelley has lived in the Silver Valley for most of her life. She attended and graduated from Wallace High School in 1972.
Shelley married Tom Pierce on July 23, 2006, in Sagle, Idaho.
Shelley had served as a great bartender for the Lincoln’s 10,000 Dollar Bar of Haugan, Mont., for many years. She had also bartended in Sandpoint, Idaho. And lastly, Shelley had worked for Unicep Packaging Company in Sandpoint for several years.
Shelley loved fishing and was known as a fine fisherman; she also enjoyed gardening and cooking. But above all, Shelley loved gatherings with her beloved family.
Shelley is survived by three children, Shawn Auger (Katrina) of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Lynsey Lotty of Shelton, Conn., and Randy Auger (Tasha) of Haugan; five grandchildren; two sisters, Julie Crnkovich of Kellogg and Jeri Estill (Scott) of Osburn; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Shelley was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved grandparents, Esther and Clayton Smith, who raised her and her siblings; two brothers, Jeffery and Bill; one sister, Barbara and her husband, Tom Pierce.
A celebration of Shelley’s life will be held and announced at a later date.
