Dennis Lee Lickfold, 73

Dennis was born Jan. 15, 1949, in Wardner, Idaho, to Howard and Pearl Lickfold. He passed into his eternal life on Aug. 24, 2022, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Growing up his family lived in Kingston, Idaho, which was his hometown. Dennis graduated from Kellogg High School in 1968. Most of his adult life he lived in Post Falls, Idaho, where he resided with his loving wife, Gail and his beloved dog, Mya.

He was a master wood craftsman; his unique, delicate style would put most to shame. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Gail and her son, Ronnie; his sister, Barbara Ann Colley and brother Duncan Scott Lickfold. Dennis had three children with his former wife, Barbara: two sons, Marvin Lee Lickfold (Mindy), and Clifford Ray Lickfold (Shawna), and one daughter, Bridget Kay Lickfold; his seven grandchildren, Matthew (Samantha), Mason, Maximus, Kyle, Brooke, Breanna and Blake; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Dennis believed in God as his Lord and Savior.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at Yates Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho, with a reception to follow.
