Arthur 'Art' F. Britton, 78

Arthur "Art" Franklin Britton, 78, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away peacefully Nov. 28, 2022, at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, Idaho. Art was born on June 5, 1944, in Wallace, a son of the late Howard "Bud" Britton and Marian Isdell Britton.

Art attended local schools and graduated from Mullan High School, Class of 1962. He married his high school sweetheart, Eileen Christopherson on July 25, 1964, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Mullan, Idaho.

Art worked in retail for many years owning the local flower shop in Wallace in the early 1970s. Many who knew Art appreciated his creativity as he loved interior decoration, remodeling, painting, and had a wonderful eye for seeing pieces of beauty in junk.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Britton.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Britton and her family; his son, Bret Britton and his family; and partner Paul Hartmann.

At Art’s request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held sometime in the spring of 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Mullan.
