Kay M. Pellens, 81

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kay Marion Pellens, 81, of Kingston, Idaho, passed away Nove. 26, 2022, at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, Idaho. She was born May 15, 1941, in Picher, Okla. Kay was the daughter of Hubert and Lois (Hodges) Lancaster.

Kay attended and graduated from Kootenai High School in Harrison, Idaho. She moved to the Silver Valley of which she loved, in 1951.

Kay was a homemaker. She loved and enjoyed her family, gardening, playing the piano, sewing and crocheting. Kay loved the mountains and the recreation of which they provided; she was also an animal lover and cared for dogs, chickens and her miniature horse named Casper.

Kay is survived by two daughters, Tracy Dereu (Scott) of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Rhonda Roth (Denny) of Hot Springs, Mont.; three sons, Duane Siercke of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Wade Marquez of Kingston and Jim Siercke of Pasco, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two nephews and one niece. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Roger Siercke and one brother, Joe Lancaster.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Bill Howard officiating; everyone is welcome. Private interment will be held at the Hunt Cemetery in Kingston.
