Silver Mountain Ski Report 12/9

We’ve had a fantastic start to the season at Silver Mountain with our earliest opening since 2016 and 56 inches of snowfall so far. This weekend we’ll have every lift open, with historic Chair 4 spinning for the first time this season! We’re expecting up to 6 inches of fresh snow and some refills coming in Saturday.

The gondola runs Friday through Sunday, with daily operations starting Thursday, Dec. 15. The snow tubing hill already has every lane open and sessions are ready to be booked. Tubing is a great Christmas Break activity that includes a scenic gondola ride and two hours of high-speed, high-stakes races to the bottom. Loser buys the hot cocoa? Take a running start at the top and tell the competition you like your cocoa with whipped cream.
