Silver fans, the time has finally come: Silver Mountain is open daily for skiing and snowboarding! No more waiting anxiously for the weekend to click in and shred. We’re spinning the gondola and chairlifts every day from now until April 9.

Skiing midweek is a great way to save a little extra cash while missing the weekend crowds. Imagine having all 1,620 acres of skiable terrain to yourself with no lift lines and no wait during your midday french fry break (some call it lunch). Trust me, your boss/teacher will understand.

This weekend, we’re starting off with Chairs 1, 2, 3, 5, and the Magic Carpet. The plan is to get Chair 4 up and running for the first time this season, optimistically looking at Saturday. We’ve experienced 74 inches of snowfall this season and, at the time of writing, have 56 trails open with more possible as the week progresses. The forecast is calling for scattered sun this weekend before snow makes a return early next week.

Mother Nature has started our season with a healthy mix of powder days and bluebird days, and we’re looking forward to plenty more in store now with daily operations!
