At Lookout Pass we have enjoyed incredible powder days the past week thanks to the storms that passed our way over the last few weeks. Year to date, our snow total stands at 162 inches with 34 inches of that received in the past four days.

The mountain is open seven days a week even through the cold spell of Thursday and Friday.

Lookout has several upcoming events including the Torchlight Parade on Dec. 31. Join us on the slopes carrying a torch or watch our gift to the Silver Valley community from the Bar or Lodge. Details can be found at SkiLookout.com under the events tab.

The Free Ski School program starts on Jan. 7. See what enhancements have been made and register your children for the program at skilookout.com/famous-free-ski-school.

There is still time to grab a skiing or snowboarding gift for the holidays: Advantage Cards are affordably priced at just $79 for adults and $59 for youth ages 7 to 17 years. First visit is free and the cardholder saves $10 on lift tickets for the rest of the winter.

We have some positions to fill for people that want to work. Full and part time opportunities — inside and outdoor openings available. Stop by the main office to apply in person. We’re hiring for lift attendants, vehicle maintenance, ticket sales, ticket checking, parking, food service, snowsports instructors and more. Information: 208-744-1234

May you all enjoy a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday to all living in the Silver Valley from the staff at Lookout Pass.
