Marian Newburn, 93

Beloved friend Marian Newburn passed away Saturday, Feb. 29, 2021. It is hard to believe it has been almost a year already.

In honor and respect for a great lady, I wanted to put her death in the paper. She was a very generous, loving and giving person. She had just turned 93 on her birthday, Feb. 14, 2021. She was a Valentine’s baby, so she got to celebrate her birthday and Valentine’s Day together. Happy birthday in heaven, Marian.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Pinehurst for years. When the Church sold, she went to the Worship Center in Smelterville.

Marian was married to Ray Newburn for 16 or 18 months, when he sadly passed away. She loved him very much and missed him greatly.

Marian is very much missed. I lost a dear friend and also lost my sweet sister, Louise Horine Bohannon on Jan. 2, 2021. They both have been a great loss to me so close together. I will see you both one day. You both will always be close to my heart.
