NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE NO. 2022-11 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of SMELTERVILLE, will hold a public hearing on a Category A consensual annexation of that certain property located at 163 Commerce Drive, Smelterville, Shoshone County, State of Idaho, at City Hall on the 9th day of February, 2022, at 4:00 o'clock p.m., to receive public comment on the proposed annexation, designation of the proposed property to be annexed as a Commercial ("C") zone, and corresponding ordinance no. 2022-11. A summary of the principal provisions of Proposed Ordinance are as follows: A ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF SMELTERVILLE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF SHOSHONE COUNTY, IDAHO, MORE SPECIFICALLY PROPERTY OWNED BY WESTERN REMAN COMPANY, LOCATED AT 163 E. COMMERCE DRIVE, SHOSHONE COUNTY PARCELS 49N02E355630 AND 49N02E355620, CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF SMELTERVILLE; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE ANNEXED PROPERTY AS COMMERCIAL ("C"); DIRECTING THAT CERTIFIED COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE BE FILED AS PROVIDED FOR BY LAW; PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. South Fork Coeur d'Alene River Sewer District Nine Mile Gravity Sewer Advertisement for Bids South Fork Coeur d'Alene River Sewer District is requesting Bids for the construction of the Nine Mile Gravity Sewer Project. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the District office located at 1020 Polaris Avenue, Osburn, Idaho 83849 or by U.S. Postal Service to P.O. Box 783, Osburn, ID 83849, until Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: The proposed project involves demolition of the existing Nine Mile Lift Station and force main, and rerouting gravity sewer flow approximately 2,800 linear feet from the Nine Mile Creek area west to connect to an existing gravity sewer pipeline near the Wallace Visitor Center. The proposed project also involves re-aligning a portion of gravity sewer south of I-90 and connecting it to the District's interceptor pipeline in Silver Valley Road. Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained electronically at www.southforksdplans.com at no cost. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Fork Coeur d'Alene River Sewer District office at 1020 Polaris Ave, Osburn, ID, 83849. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Owner. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
