Ronald Kalmback, 78

Ronald Kalmback, 78, of Cataldo, Idaho, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Mont. Online condolences may be left at gardencityfh.com.

Ronald Dale Kalmback, son of Albert and Magdalene (Kaul) Kalmback, was born Jan. 25, 1943, in Glendive, Mont. He graduated from Dawson County High School in Glendive. Ronald was united in marriage with Sherry Hoskins on Nov. 8, 1963, two children were born to this union.

Ronald’s passion was his work and his Gold Wing Motorcycle. He had an amazing work ethic that was only matched by his love of taking long rides on his bike, no matter the destination. Ronald loved his family and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. Above all else, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Sherry Kalmback; children Randy (Carmen) Kalmback and Tami (Byron) Andres; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Agnes Kegley and Janice McKeen; sister-in-law Em Loberg; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Magdalene.
