NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Ordinance 2022-01 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Wallace Planning and Zoning Commission, will hold a public hearing on a Proposed Ordinance to Designate Areas previously identified as a Holding District (H) zone, at City Hall on the 8th day of March, 2022, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., to receive public comment. A summary of the principal provisions of Proposed Ordinance are as follows: AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PLANNING AND ZONING FOR LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE INCORPORATED AREA OF WALLACE AND AMENDING TITLE 13, CHAPTER 6, TO REMOVE HOLDING DISTRICT (H) AS A ZONE, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONE OF AREAS PRESENTLY IDENTIFIED ON THE ZONING MAP AS HOLDING DISTRICT, PROVIDING THAT THE PRIOR ZONING MAP BE UPDATED BY THE CITY ENGINEER TO ASSIGN AREAS PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED AS HOLDING DISTRICT CONSISTENT WITH THIS ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ANY PRIOR CONFLICTING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. STATE TIMBER SALE CR225076, LOWER HAZENDORF A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 80 Hilltop Overpass Road, Kingston, ID 83839, at 10:00 a.m. local time, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 for an estimated 5,955 MBF of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is an unestimated volume of forest products that may be removed at the option of the purchaser. Prior to bidding, eligible bidders shall present a certified check or bank draft payable to Idaho Department of Lands, or a bid bond acceptable to the State, in the amount of $207,671.30 which is 10% of the appraised net sale value of $2,076,713.00. NOTICE OF SUPPLEMENTAL LEVY ELECTION PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to law and requisite action by the Board of Trustees of Kellogg Joint School District No. 391, Shoshone & Kootenai Counties, State of Idaho, that a special replacement supplemental levy election will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, in the Kellogg Joint School District No. 391, Shoshone & Kootenai Counties, State of Idaho for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said District their vote at precinct polling sites open 8:00 AM-8:00 PM for the question, "Shall the Board of Trustees of Kellogg Joint School District No. 391, Shoshone & Kootenai Counties, Idaho be authorized and empowered to levy a supplemental levy, as permitted by law, the amount of TWO MILLION NINE HUNDRED FIFTY EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2,958,400.00) per year for two (2) years, for the purpose of paying all lawful expenses of maintaining and operating the schools of the District for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2024.
