Robert 'Bobby' Evertt Olson, 70

Robert “Bobby” Evertt Olson, 70, of Smelterville, Idaho, passed away June 29, 2022, at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg. He was born Sept. 5, 1951, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Bobby was the son of Arthur and Helen (Weekley) Olson.

Bobby moved to the Silver Valley in July 2020 from Coeur d’Alene. He was united in marriage to Angela “Angie” Dragon on May 17, 2003, in Coeur d’Alene.

Bobby was a carpenter and he had worked in construction and landscaping. He had also served as a manager of a motel in Coeur d’Alene.

Bobby loved and enjoyed his family, reading, bike riding and above all, he loved helping others.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Angie of the family home in Smelterville; one daughter, Angela Yeakey of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren, Steven, Nakita and Tiffany; one great-grandchild, Dante and one great-grandchild on the way; one brother, Richard Olson of Sandpoint, Idaho; and two sisters, Sylvia and Norma. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Charlotte.

Bobby’s request was for cremation and no services to be held.
