Karla Ann Galloway, 71

Karla Ann Galloway, 71, of Silverton, Idaho, passed away March 4, 2022, at the Shoshone Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born July 15, 1950, in Quonset Point, R.I. Karla was the daughter of Francis and Anna (Jazikoff) Koval.

Karla attended and graduated from Hilltop High School, Class of 1968.

Karla was a homemaker and a mother of two daughters. Later, she worked a variety of odd jobs but her most important job was being there for her family and her daughters. On Halloween in 2005, Karla married the love of her life Martin Galloway. Sadly Martin passed away in 2008. Karla moved to the Silver Valley in 2019 from Post Falls.

In her free time, Karla was an avid reader and liked to do art. She also looked forward to going on motorcycle rides with her husband and visiting the beach.

Karla is survived by two daughters, Heather Decker and Jennifer Messmore; her sister, Karen Standard; six grandchildren, Jazmine Esparza, Justina Messmore, Kyle Apple, Luke Apple, Gage Mossuto and Blayde Mossuto; and five great-grandchildren, Xavier, Dante, Jayah, Brayden, Braxton and Davon. Karla is also survived by her niece, Sidney Foshay. Karla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin and her sister, Alexandra Foshay.

Per Karla’s wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
