Keri Ann Tester, 47

Keri Ann Tester, 47, of Osburn, Idaho, passed away May 10, 2022, at Kootenai Health of Coeur d’Alene. She was born May 22, 1974, in Kellogg, Idaho. Keri was the daughter of Lloyd A. and Cynthia “Cindy” R. (Holmquist) Doney.

Keri has lived in the Silver Valley for most of her life. She attended and graduated from Wallace High School in 1992. Keri furthered her education and attended the University of Idaho, receiving a bachelor’s degree in education.

Keri served as an elementary school teacher — second grade, and had taught in Mullan, Kellogg and Osburn. She had also worked for Meals On Wheels for the Silver Valley Senior Services.

Keri loved and enjoyed going up the river and camping, going to the casino with her family, gardening, watching TV with her sons and preparing special snacks for all of them, four-wheeling and razor riding. She was also an avid Seahawks fan.

Keri is survived by her beloved sons, Jacob “Jake” Tester and his fiancée Kaitlin Gribble of Mullan, Idaho, and Josh Tester of Osburn; her father, Lloyd Doney (Vicki) of Angel Island, Mont.; her paternal grandmother, Irma Doney of Silverton, Idaho; her uncle and aunt, Roger Holmquist (Mary) of Spokane Valley, Wash.; one niece, Brianna Bergem of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; her cousins, Rick McNinch and Joe Potts; and her beloved dog, Rosco. Keri was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Doney and one sister, Casey Bergem.

A celebration of Keri’s life will be held and announced at a later date.
