Diane Renee Goodson, 79

Diane Renee Goodson, 79, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away Oct. 31, 2022, at the Life Care Center in Post Falls, Idaho. She was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Kellogg. Diane was the daughter of Charles and Elaine Biotti.

Diane has lived in Kellogg all of her life. She attended and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1961.

Diane was united in marriage to Bernard “Bernie” Goodson on Oct. 22, 1960, at the Federated Church in Kellogg. Bernie passed away June 15, 2013.

Diane was a homemaker. She had also worked at J.C. Penney in Kellogg. Diane was a floral designer and had worked at Kellogg Floral owned by Hazel Corbeill and she had also worked at Blum’s Flowers in Osburn. Lastly, Diane was owner and operator of Besano’s Gift Shop, located at the base of the Silver Mountain Resort Gondola.

Diane was a member of the United Church of Kellogg — now known as Mountain View Congregational Church. She had also served as a Girl Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Leader.

Diane loved and enjoyed snow skiing, arts and crafts, sewing and was a gifted painter.

Diane is survived by one son, Todd Goodson (Mary) of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; two daughters, Toni Sinclair of Phoenix, Ariz., and Traci Murano (Ercole) of Urbandale, Iowa; four grandchildren, Chandler Goodson, Sophia Goodson, Luke Murano and Alexia Murano; and one brother, Jim Biotti (Trudy) of Dallas, Ore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Chuck and Elaine Biotti; her husband, Bernard Goodson and one grandson, Christopher Goodson.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel, with Father Jerome Montez officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg.
