IDFG running weekend check stations

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game in the Panhandle Region will be running check stations Nov. 12-13 and 19-20 in Priest River along SH 97, St. Maries along SH 3 and Bonners Ferry at the 3-mile weigh station.

Check stations will run from 10 a.m. to sunset and allow IDFG to monitor deer and elk harvest and collect samples for chronic wasting disease testing.

Hunters wishing to have their animal tested for CWD can visit any check station to do so.
