Sandra “Sandy” Margaret Braley, 85

Sandra “Sandy” Margaret Braley, 85, of Pinehurst, ID, passed away on September 13, 2022 at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, ID. Sandy was born on July 18, 1937 in Brainerd, MN, a daughter of the late George C. Spencer and Margaret Isle Spencer.

Sandy married Ivan Braley on June 19, 1954 in Absarokee, MT. Ivan passed away in February of 1991. Sandy worked as a dietician for eight years at Ferry County Memorial Hospital in Republic, WA and then stayed home for many years to raise her family.

She enjoyed word search puzzles, knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing Yahtzee, and was an avid reader.

In addition to her husband, Ivan, Sandy is preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Spencer.

Survivors include her children, Tim Braley of Pinehurst, ID, Tom Braley of Spokane, WA, Todd Braley of Republic, WA, Deb Braley of Brookings, OR, Pam Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, and Shelly Braley of Orient, WA; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandy is also survived by her sisters, Bonnie Marcher and Cindy Cook both of Moses Lake, WA.

At Sandy’s request, cremation will take place and her urn will be placed at the Republic Cemetery in Republic, WA at a later date.
