Nathan Tucker, 23

| April 11, 2023 1:50 AM

Nathan Hawk Tucker, 23, of Osburn, Idaho, courageously passed away April 5, 2023, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Nate was born on April 13, 1999, in Escondido, Calif., to Royce Tucker and Joanna Warner.

Nate moved to North Idaho when he was a year old with his father, Royce. At the age of 18 months, he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and it was clear that Nate would experience many challenges and difficulties throughout his life. Regardless of the obstacles, Nate was an energetic and curious child who loved to wrestle, play outside and visit with his friends. Nate was a graduate of Wallace High School.

His positive attitude and zest for life were infectious and everyone that met him quickly grew to love him. Nate continued to grow and learn while becoming a bright light and teaching presence to those that accepted him into their lives, no matter the amount of time spent with him. Nate will be loved, cherished, and remembered for years and years to come.

Nate is survived by his father, Royce Tucker; stepmother Julia Farnsworth, both of Osburn, Idaho; siblings Gavin and Mars; as well as numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

A celebration of Nate’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Phippeny Park in Coeur d’Alene. Anyone that was impacted by Nate’s life is welcome to attend.
