Holly, Cooper Lenz, and O’Connor finished with two RBIs each for Timberlake.

Reed Whatcott singled to score Travis Eixenberger with the tying run in the top of the sixth for Kellogg. The Wildcats defeated the Lumberjacks 12-8 on Tuesday.

“Kellogg’s a scrappy team,” Timberlake coach Bryce Johnson said. “We had some chances, but just couldn’t put them away. We left 13 runners on base and just kept leaving guys on base and let them hang around. We were putting guys on base, but just couldn’t get them in. Kellogg did a good job of getting out of those key situations.”

“We put the ball in play today, and had great pitching,” St. Maries coach Craig Wicks said.
