Fruitful festivities reign at Huckleberry Festival

Berries reigned supreme during Huckleberry Festival in downtown Wallace over the weekend.

The streets were blocked off and lined with vendors as live music played and children enjoyed the inflatable Adventure Zone attraction. On Sunday, there was a huckleberry pancake breakfast at the Wallace Elks Lodge and a 5K race.

The overall winner of the 5K was Kai Sharbono, 39, of Spokane, Wash., with a time of 18:03.4. Ryan Byers, 30, of Pocatello, came in second place overall with a time of 18:31.4.
