Osburn Public Library fundraiser announces a winner

OSBURN — The Osburn Public Library Foundation supplements the library budget and helps bring great things to our local community especially the children.

Marta Arthurs, chair of the foundation, said the fundraiser has been going strong for 18 years and for the second year has raised over $1,500 to supplement the city budget for the library.

“It helps us to have a terrific growing children’s program,” Arthurs said.

The foundation puts together a Christmas basket with local goods and gift cards. Tickets for the drawing are sold from October to December. This year’s winner is Kayla Hamlin. 

Arthurs extended a warm thank you to all the local businesses who donated their items to this cause.
