ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Kellogg, Idaho Kellogg Sustainable Stormwater Improvements The City of Kellogg (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Kellogg Sustainable Stormwater Improvements Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the City of Kellogg at 1007 McKinley Avenue, Kellogg, ID 83837 until March 16, 2023, at 2:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Work will be completed in three (3) distinct locations around the city. The first location at Bunker Creek will include removal of buried storm water pipe, recontouring of an existing storm water channel, installation of new culvert for bike trail crossing, and addition of a clean out structure. The second location on Hill Street will include removal of a manhole and installation of a CDS Structure in line with existing storm water systems. The third location is along North Hill Street including modifications to an existing inlet structure and installation of drop in filter inserts in existing storm water inlets. The project is located in the Bunker Hill Superfund Site. Subsurface soils are known to be contaminated by heavy metals that are associated with historic mining wastes. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Sustainable Stormwater Improvements. Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $450,000.
