WALLACE — Freshman Kylee Phillips scored 16 points for the Miners in a nonleague win over the Warriors at Kirby Krulitz Court.

The Miners led 27-0 after one quarter and 39-2 at halftime – which allowed coach Nichole Farkas to get creative with some of her rotations in the second half.

Junior Britany Phillips scored 12 points for Wallace.

Chloe Dorman scored seven points for Kootenai.

WALLACE — Macy Jerome scored 18 points as the visiting Wildcats took off after the first quarter and beat the Miners in nonleague play at Kirby Krulitz Court.

The game began as almost a feeling-out pace, with both teams being knotted up at 6 points apiece after eight minutes – but the Lady ‘Cats found their offensive rhythm in the second frame and never let up.

Britany Phillips scored a game-high 31 points for Wallace, including going 11 of 11 from the free-throw line.
