CENTRAL SHOSHONE COUNTY WATER DISTRICT DRAFT TRANSMISSION MAIN REPLACEMENT FEASIBILITY STUDY PUBLIC MEETING The Central Shoshone County Water District will hold a public meeting on February 13, 2023 at the District Office, 409 Main Street, Kellogg, ID 83837 at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the public meeting is to present recommendations for replacement of the District’s transmission main described in the Draft Transmission Main Replacement Feasibility Report. The meeting will present the regulatory requirements, system deficiencies, and proposed improvement alternatives. Additionally, information will be presented regarding the environmental impacts associated with each alternative, funding options, and potential financial impact to District rate-payers. A copy of the Feasibility Report will be available for public review starting February 1st at the District office and J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc., 7825 Meadowlark Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815 during normal business hours. Verbal and written comments on the Feasibility Report will be accepted at the public meeting. ADVERTISEMENT Request for Proposals “Stormwater Goes to School” Design and Construction Administration Response Due by February 10, 2023 2:00PM Kellogg School District (KSD) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms with established experience in providing stormwater treatment designs specifically directed at phosphorus removal. KSD has received funding from the Leading Idaho Phosphorus Reduction Program and the selected firm will be expected to work closely with IDEQ for coordination of project funds and construction standards. A firm that has a working relationship with IDEQ is preferred. The project will include: • Survey of the area and assessment of existing treatment, if any • Coordination with KSD on alternate design options • Creating a full design package including bidding documents for construction • Administer construction contract and quality inspections • Reporting, as required, by IDEQ for the funding program The selected firm must demonstrate the ability to provide most of the services required and clearly identify those services which will need to be provided by the sub-consultant. KSD will select a consultant on a qualification-based criterion for the services provided. SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS AVAILABLE For those students who were in Special Education in the Kellogg, Wallace or Mullan Schools through the year 2016, Silver Valley Special Services COOP will be destroying inactive special education files. Inactive special education files through the year 2016 are scheduled to be destroyed the first week of June 2023. Destruction of these records is the best protection against improper and unauthorized disclosure. Please be aware that if you have special education records on file with the school district, these records may be needed for Social Security benefits or for other purposes in the future.
