Marie Rose Rush, 82

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Rush on June 7, 2023.

A lifelong resident of the Silver Valley, she was born in Kellogg on June 3, 1941, to Jack and Mary Davis. One of 13 children, she grew up in a large loving home. She eventually married Earl William Rush and raised four daughters, Connie, Sandra, Barbara and Diane.

Marie had the best of both worlds, spending the summers in the beautiful Silver Valley with her family and heading off to Arizona in the winter months to spend time with her daughters and their families.

Marie lived a full and vibrant life, always there with her beautiful, kind, loving and patient nature. Leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed, yet her legacy will live on through the love and kindness she shared with everyone who was blessed to know her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Rush, and daughter Diane Rush.

A devoted mother, Marie is survived by her loving daughters, Connie Cross, Sandra Rush and Barb Sharp; as well as her grandchildren, Doug and Jeff Stanley, Moanna Schmidt, Kristina Malolua, Brittany and Stacie Lopez, and Coleya Dennis; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Please join us at her celebration of life at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, followed by an inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery in Kellogg. Family and friends are invited to her home in Osburn to honor Marie’s memory, rejoice in her life, and share in the love that she so generously gave to those around her.
