CLARKSTON — The Wildcat golfers were able to get in their first competitive round of the season last week and the early signs are promising for coach Simon Miller.

In cold rainy conditions, Kellogg’s athlete ground out a full 18-holes.

Wildcat newcomers Kadimay Hart, Faith Shorey, and Johnny Stovern completed their first 18-hole high school competitive rounds with scores of 121, 126, and 101 respectively.

Meanwhile the tenured golfers in the program got to work leading their teams.

Elliott Hei was the low Wildcat girl with a score of 112, followed by Kendra Korasick (117), and Kaci Finlay (128).

For the boys, two-time State Champion Jaeger Hall, on his return to KHS Golf after a one-year hiatus, cracked the top five with an impressive 87 on the difficult Red Wolf Golf Course.

Hall was followed by Brodie Robinson (95), Blake Coburn (97), and Easton Towne (99).

No other team scores were reported.
