KELLOGG GIRLS BASKETBALL

PRIEST RIVER — Senior Macy Jerome had 20 points and seven rebounds for the Kellogg Wildcats in a 55-28 win over the Priest River Spartans in the Central Idaho League opener for both on Monday.

Senior Dani Schillereff had eight points and eight rebounds and sophomore Dani Henrikson had five assists and six rebounds for Kellogg (1-1), which hosts Wallace on Dec. 5.

“We crashed the boards really well and got some good shots,” Kellogg coach Jana Nearing said. “We shot the ball really well from the 3-point line and free-throw line as well. The girls played hard.”

Senior Emily Coe had eight rebounds and seven points for Kellogg.

Junior Desi Humphrey had seven points for Priest River.
