-What experience has prepared you for this office?

As a third-generation business owner, I feel that growing up being around business, working with the public, and having high respect for the community and its needs has prepared me to serve in a new way as a City Councilman. I put the needs of the community and my customers before myself, and I’m always looking for ways to leave my mark on the community that I care for.

-What is the number one issue/problem you believe you will face if elected, and how will you resolve it?

I believe the number one issue that I will face if elected will be the city’s budget. If elected, I will provide due diligence in making sure the checks and balances in the city’s budget will be thoroughly researched and money will be well spent in every category of the city’s needs.

-What do you consider a top responsibility for the position you’re seeking?

As councilman, it is my top responsibility to make well-informed decisions that are for the benefit of Pinehurst’s population. I believe it is important to look after the needs of the citizens and to address the problems that come up on a day-to-day basis, as well as big-picture projects.

-Why should voters choose you?

I feel people should vote for me because caring for the public is in my everyday life. Whether dispatching for the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, volunteering at the fire department, or towing a vehicle, I’ve always had a passion for the public and have the action to back it up. I only want to get better at serving the community that I grew up in.
