Highest level of education completed: High School Diploma and One and a half years at the University of Idaho

Degrees and professional certifications: Civic organization or nonprofit board service: I am a current Board member for the Shoshone County Ambulance Service District, I have been a member of the Kellogg Elks and Smelterville Lions Club since 1976 and have served as the President for the Lions for the last 26 years.

How long have you lived in Idaho and in your city? I am a native of the Valley, having been born and raised in Kellogg, moved to Pinehurst in 1981 and still currently reside in Pinehurst.

Marital Status: Married Diane Huber in 1978

Family: Diane and I have three children, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

-What experience has prepared you for this office?

I was the Mayor of Pinehurst for 16 years, having served from 2000 to 2015 as well as District Two, Shoshone County Commissioner, for eight years (2015-2022).

-What is the No. 1 issue/problem you believe you will face if elected, and how will you resolve it?

Participation from the citizens and bringing the community together to be more involved.

-What do you consider a top responsibility for the position you’re seeking?

To be able to answer and resolve any concerns the citizens of Pinehurst have and do what is best for the City of Pinehurst.

-Why should voters choose you?

I have served as an Elected Official for many years and believe I have the experience. I was Mayor of the City of Pinehurst and currently reside there, and I believe the decisions I make will come from knowing and caring about the citizens of Pinehurst and my involvement in the community. I believe I can help the city.
