I have called Idaho and the Silver Valley my home for my entire life, with the exception of 11 years in the military between countless schools in the US and combat deployments to Iraq. I spent the majority of my youth learning the ways of the world up Little Pine and have since purchased and lived in my grandparents' home in Pinehurst for the last 5 years.

Marital Status: Wife, Miranda

Family: We have three amazing children.

  • What experience has prepared you for this office?

My past year as a sitting appointed city of Pinehurst council member has helped to prepare me for this position. I have participated in many workshops and training to better serve the residents of our city. My military time abroad has taught me to take the time to observe and weigh all possible options before making decisions that will affect others. I believe this allows me to best represent everyone in the decision-making process.

  • What is the No. 1 issue/problem you believe you will face if elected, and how will you resolve it?

If I am elected to remain a member of Pinehurst City Council I will be given the opportunity to follow through with current issues we already have in the works including City floodplain concerns as well as blight mitigations and many city improvement projects. I will help to resolve these issues by working with countless state and federal organizations, providing our city employees with a positive and healthy work environment, and the tools and support to complete their jobs at the highest level.

  • What do you consider a top responsibility for the position you’re seeking?

I believe that it is every elected official's responsibility to represent the entire community equally. Not to just represent a small portion or those of special interest. Decisions should be made on behalf of everyone involved and should provide the best possible outcome the largest majority possible. Elected officials should serve solely for the greater good of their community and not for personal gain or benefit.

  • Why should voters choose you?

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve our great Citizens of Pinehurst should they see fit. I would love the opportunity to see current projects as well as future ones through to completion.
