- What experience has prepared you for this office?
31.5 years in both management and law enforcement, including 25 years at the Pinehurst Police Department and 5.5 years at the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office.
- What is the No. 1 issue/problem you believe you will face if elected, and how will you resolve it?
One of the biggest complaints I’m hearing about is the blights. I think we should find the underlying problem with each one, whether it’s a truck that’s needed, dump runs, or simply an extra pair of hands, and then see if we can get them the help that’s needed.
- What do you consider a top responsibility for the position you’re seeking?
I believe you need to listen to people. Ask questions. Be involved. Get citizens involved. Try and make decisions that move the city forward and do the best you can to make our city a safer place to raise a family.
- Why should voters choose you?
I believe I can bring a positive attitude to the citizens. I believe I can also bring people skills and some know-how. I enjoy accomplishing things and not quitting until I have. I’d appreciate the voters having confidence in me, someone local, who wants a safe place to raise our families.
