Nancy Florence Green, 88

Nancy Florence Green, 88, of Kellogg, Idaho, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Oct. 20, 2023, at Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg, Idaho.

Nancy was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Oakdale, Wis., a daughter of the late Francis and Katherine (Java) Perkins. When Nancy was only two years old, the family moved from Wisconsin to the Silver Valley.

Nancy married James Green on Nov. 12, 1954, at the Baptist church in Pinehurst, Idaho. The couple had three children, Ron, Dan and Mark. Nancy remained at home to raise her children and enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, cooking, and catching her favorite shows on TV, especially “The Price Is Right."

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her son, Ron Green, with three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her two sons, Dan Green and Mark (Karen) Green, both of Pinehurst, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Green of Kellogg, Idaho; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Kathy Piekarski of Kingston, Idaho; a brother, Denny Perkins of Spokane, Wash., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Shoshone Funeral Services, 106 S. Main St., Kellogg, where a reception will follow.
