Margaret L. Banks, 74

Margaret Louise Banks, 74, of Osburn, Idaho, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sept. 9, 2023, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Peggy was born March 12, 1949, in Scranton, Pa., a daughter of the late Stanley Kraemer and Elizabeth (Thomas) Kraemer.

Peggy graduated from Scranton Central High School, Class of 1967. After graduation, Peggy moved to Las Vegas, Nev., to be close to her grandparents and then she later moved to the Silver Valley. Peggy had worked for the Wallace School District for over 30 years and at Loving Care and More in Osburn for the last 10 years.

She was a faithful member of Mountain View Congregational Church in Kellogg, Idaho. Peggy enjoyed socializing with friends at the fitness center. She was a loving and caring person who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her son, William (Karen) Shea of Osburn, Idaho; a brother, Stanley (Shirley) Kraemer of Scranton, Pa.; a niece, Synette of Scranton, Pa.; three grandchildren, Keith (Maila) Bornitz, Brittany Banks and Jacob (Kenzie) Dean; and four great-grandchildren, Gabriel Bornitz, Alexandra Bornitz and Tinley Dean, and Hennessy Dean.
