Cheri Lynn Davis, 65

Cheri Lynn (Johnson) Davis, 65, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away April 14, 2024, at Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with her loving husband by her side. Cheri was born Aug. 14, 1958, in Kellogg, Idaho, a daughter of the late Stanley Johnson and Bernice (Christian) Johnson. 

Cheri graduated from Kellogg High School in 1976, where she met the love of her life, John Davis. The two were married in Olympia, Wash., in 1979. They were married for 44 years. Cheri was a dental assistant, bartender and a waitress. She loved people and making them happy. If you ever ate at the Meister Burger in Kellogg, you would know.

Cheri and John adopted and raised her two sisters when they were 4 and 6 years old. She loved to go camping, bike riding and long rides, and she spent time with her family and her two dogs.

Cheri is survived by her husband, John Davis, two brothers, Kevin and Robert, and three aunts. She had two daughters, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, daughter and sister.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
