Pet registration underway in Wardner
WARDNER — Pet Registrar Rick Gilbert is collecting registration information for the small city’s furry friends
Residents should’ve received their annual letter alerting them of the registration period and Gilbert will begin collecting registrations through May 15.
“If you are new to our special little city, welcome,” Gilbert said. “If you have four-legged loved ones, they will need to be vaccinated and registered according to the city ordinance. The letter will include drop off location for fees, and proof of vaccination information; as well as how to receive your new tag/s and receipt from the city for payment.”
The fees for registering an animal in Wardner run $10 per neutered or spayed animal, $20 for non-altered animals, these in a $20 kennel fee. They also have an option for four or more animals costing $50.
Checks can be made out to the City of Wardner.
For more information, Rick Gilbert can be contacted between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Monday through Friday) at 208-512-2174 (call or text message), or via email at casapelicanos@att.net.
