Beverly Jean Masters, 88
Beverly Jean Masters, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully April 24, 2024, at Mountain Valley of Cascadia in Kellogg, Idaho. Beverly was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Kellogg, Idaho, to the late Erving and Ida (Lien) Crawford. She was a lifelong Silver Valley resident.
Beverly graduated from Kellogg High School in 1953 and met the love of her life, Laurence Wayne Masters. Laurence and Beverly were married at Pinehurst Baptist Church on Oct. 17, 1953. Beverly worked as a cook throughout her time living in the Silver Valley, including various restaurants and even Mountain Valley of Cascadia, where she would eventually take up residency.
Beverly enjoyed many hobbies, including crocheting, reading and playing solitaire. She also enjoyed spending lots of time with her family, including her four children, seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Mathew Anderson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Laurence; her children, Michael (Sharon) Masters in Lacey, Wash., Dawn Shadden of Estancia, N.M., Julie (Vick) of Burke, Idaho, and Larry (Becky) Masters of Raeford, N.C.; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
