Reed Anthony Norris, 28
Reed Anthony Norris, 28, of Kellogg, Idaho, beloved son, brother and grandson, passed away April 21, 2024. Reed was born to Julia Hartwig on Jan. 27, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nev. Reed recently moved to Kellogg, Idaho, from his hometown to pursue his career as a tattoo artist. He enjoyed the Silver Valley community and the training to be a cook at Sam’s Restaurant.
Reed was a talented and skilled artist. His interest in art began at a young age, starting with pencil sketches and then charcoal and oil drawings. He wanted to learn watercolor next. Reed enjoyed working and helping his Papa at the Italian-American Club, the Shiners and as a barista at Convention Exhibits in Las Vegas.
Reed had a thirst for knowledge. He loved reading and excelled in math. His personality brought warmth and joy to everyone around him. He enjoyed conversation, especially the exchange of ideas.
Reed was very close with his family, especially his younger brother, Blake. The two enjoyed skateboarding together and hanging out.
He will be missed as a brother, son, grandson and friend.
He is preceded in death by his father, Barry Norris.
He is survived by his parents, Julia and Chris Hartwig; his brother, Blake Norris; grandparents Anne Freeman, Anthony (Jackie) Runco, Joan and Dave Brown; and his half-sister, Danielle Norris.
A celebration of Reed's life is scheduled for Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1 p.m. at 9 Ruth Ave., Kellogg.
