- Background and/or relevant experience for the position you are running for
I am well versed on budgets and means to stay within them. I worked for the school district as a bus driver, trainer, assistant director, and director for 29 years. I also worked at the state level in Boise as a Region 3 specialist, auditing and advising over 50 Idaho school districts to help keep them within their budgets. I have proven leadership ability and have administered budgets to ensure that programs are cost-effective and that funds are managed appropriately.
My goal is to spend the next six months following and learning the position from the appointed county clerk and deputy clerk and feel there is nothing better than hands-on training from an experienced elected official. I understand there are various moving parts to this position and will strive to serve the community with honor.

- Main priority if you are elected?
My priority is to adhere to all Idaho laws, rules, and regulations, knowing that is how to build trust and to ensure that Shoshone County citizens are receiving accurate and current information. Transparency and accountability between departments at the courthouse and for the citizens. I will always work with excellence, integrity, and honesty.

- Key issues associated with the position?
I believe that a key issue is an ongoing budget crisis that was brought to light in August 2023. The overspending needs to be addressed, and we need to do our due diligence when it comes to spending Shoshone County tax dollars.
