UPDATE: Law enforcement looks for help identifying victim after fatal crash in Big Creek

BIG CREEK –– The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office has released details on the victim of a fatal crash Thursday night in Big Creek and are seeking the public's help with identifying the subject. 

The victim was reportedly a male, thought to be between the ages of 20 to 40, and weighed at least 145 pounds. The vehicle involved in the crash, which was engulfed in flames, was a full-sized pickup and was carrying either mining or construction equipment. 

The crash was reported at 10:32 p.m. Thursday night near the intersection of Country Club Road and Highwater Road. 

Because the vehicle was engulfed in flames, officials are having trouble identifying the deceased individual.  

Law enforcement officers are asking for assistance from the public if anyone has information about anyone that is missing or did not return home last night.
