Pinehurst woman dead after crash in Wallace

WALLACE — A Pinehurst woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Wallace late Tuesday.

ISP and the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the crash, which occurred around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday heading eastbound on interchange 62 on I-90.  

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was a 40-year-old woman from Pinehurst. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Law enforcement reported the driver's blue 2002 Ford F150 crashed driving between the I-90 eastbound interchange 62 off-ramp and the I-90 eastbound interchange 62 on-ramp.  

The area between the on and off-ramps was blocked for approximately four hours while emergency responders processed the crash scene. 

The driver's next of kin have been notified of her death.
